And when you get hundreds of them each year, our freedom becomes less and less. I would like to suggest that every single law expire in 10 years automatically, which would mean the legislature would either have to review the law and see if it was worth keeping - and if they didn't have the time to review it, then it would just die! ;-) So many of these laws seem well intentioned, but many of them decrease our freedom to a small extent.
