2 Great Americans Die on the Same Day

Just back from a trip to Washington DC, and having just spent 15-20 minutes reviewing the Founding Documents of our Nation on display in the National Archives…my mind has reflected on the miraculous events surrounding the passing of the “voice” of the Declaration of Independence, and its “pen.” John Adams (the voice) and Thomas Jefferson (the pen) of This Document, died on the same day…Independence Day, July 4, 1826.

This is masterfully represented in the 7th and final segment of the HBO John Adams series. I’m not trying to sell anything, but it’s available on DVD at a reasonable price from multiple sellers and it’s worth the time spent to watch it.

From your post heading, I thought you were talking about Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett.

Scott:
You won’t “sell” it, but I will. John Adams (HBO) has got to be one of the best historical drama series on DVD. A masterpiece! I purchased my copy from Costco.

Ditto the previous comment from JJL9. Shouldn’t there be a link to “Billie Jean” or “Thriller” or something in this post?
