Yesterday morning’s Grand Opening of the new Wal*Mart store across from Lone Peak High School was attended by hundreds of excited would-be-patrons.

Sorry! We have one here in Centerville we tried to keep out but failed. They are a scourge on humanity.

Sorry, I guess I don’t know what you mean. Several hundred jobs were created in our community not to mention the free-market competition to all the local stores which helps consumers find lower cost options for their family’s needs. The consumer doesn’t have to exercise the lower cost option, if they don’t want to. The consumer can always choose a higher priced option.

Nice video clip. I admit it – Wal*Mart is one of my 3 favorite places to shop. The other two are Macey’s grocery store and the fabric store. How about a Jo-Ann’s in Cedar Hills? I would do my part to keep them in business….
