Happy  New Year to all!

2009 will certainly produce some unusual challenges for our state.  With record budget shortfalls and political pressures from all sides to rely more heavily on government to solve (or assist in solving) our personal financial struggles, I hope to mitigate government’s involvement in issues we can and should responsibly take care of ourselves.

Let’s resolve this year to look for the good around us and firmly plant our feet on sound, practical principles of fiscal prudence.
