Front and Center…Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr. Endorses Education Vouchers!

Today at a lunchtime Press Conference in the Utah State House Building on Capitol Hill, Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. with Legislative Leadership explained to the citizens of Utah (and the multiplicity of mainstream media present) the facts related to the Educational Voucher proposal on November 6th’s ballot…and why you should vote FOR vouchers.
Sorry, there’s no link to a MSM news article, but this hot off the “press” stuff!

Didn’t he sort of endorse the legislation earlier this year when he signed it into law?
Why is this news?

Well, there went my support for vouchers. If Huntsman is for vouchers, I’m pretty sure the decision is based upon politics rather than principle. His advisors must have told him it was a “savvy” move.

We all knew where the Governor stood. I’m glad that he continues to trust the will of the people on this issue.
I saw nothing new in the press conference.
I believe there are better ways to address the oncoming growth than to promote private school entitlements through an incomplete bill.
